Lots of Rain in the High Country,  watch flows on all rivers

Blue River in Breck

96 CFS Fishing Okay


The flows on the Blue in town are normal for this time of year. The stair step section just north of breck is still flowing, fish are eating midges, SJW, BWOs and Caddis.

Blue River Below Lake Dillon, Silverthrone CO

109 CFS Below Dillon  Fishing Well 

333 CFS Below Green Mountain Reservior    Fishing Well


Section located below Lake Dillon in Silverthorne; Colorado I-70 - Rt. 9. The blue in Silverthorne is fishing the best it has in years. Midges, Mysis Shrimp, BWOs

Colorado River 

253 CFS Gauge near Parshall, CO  Fishing Great in the AM and PM

920 CFS in Kremmling Fishing Well 


Between Kremmling and Hot Sulphur Springs. The first CFS reading is for Granby, second is for Kremmling. The second reading is from Pumphouse down river

Dry Flies: sz18-26 Black/Cream Midges, Para. Adams
Nymphs: Midges (all colors), buckskin, Rubber Legs #10 Black/Brown, serendipity, P.Tails, Disco Midges, Brassie, BWOs


William's Fork River

123 CFS  Fishing Great

 

Section located on Highway 40 and the town of Parshall to the dam under Williams Fork Reservoir.

Dry Flies: P.Adams sz 20-24, Small Midges#18-26
Nymphs: Pheasant Tails #18-20, black beauties #18-22,grey rs2 #18-22, Buckskins #20-22, bloodmidge red, SJ Worms red, pink, wine and brown #14-16, bead head midges #18-24


South Platte River

40 CFS South Fork above Antero Reservoir  Fishing Well, but high water today

16 CFS South Fork below Antero Reseroir  Fishing Well

273 CFS Middle Fork Tomahawk SWA  Fishing poorly

313 CFS South Platte above Spinney Mountain Reservoir  Fishing poorly

240 CFS Below Spinney Mountain Reservoir 'Dream Stream'  Fishing well, but flows jumped up 100 cfs this morning


"Dream Stream" Section located below Spinney Reservoir and above 11-Mile Reservoir south of Hartsel.

Dry Flies: Midges #20-26, small BWOs if any at all, P. Adams 20-24
Nymphs: sj worm , scuds and sow bugs, tungsten midges, beadhead midges and thread midges, BLOODWORM red #18
