Elk Fork Ranch

This 6,500 acre ranch is situated on the confluence of the
East fork River and Troublesome Creek. We have access to 6 miles of the East
Fork and 4 miles of the Troublesome. Four ponds hold rainbow, cuttbow, brown
and brook trout. The Jurassic Pond has some of the largest trout in Colorado
and they have masters degrees in fly presentation. Troublesome creek is a
very small creek that holds large brown and rainbow trout that can be fooled
with bushy dries and small beadhead dropper flies. They can be very
aggressive. The East Fork is a small river that runs through a large draw
with open prairie and canyons. It has everything from fast water ,slow pools
and beaver ponds. These trout are rarely fished to and can be coaxed to
taking just about any fly. The rod fee is $150 per rod and must be booked
far in advance due to it's exclusive access and popularity with our
returning guests. Overnight accommodations available for $250 a night in
cabins or a lodge w/ all the amenities (pool table and tennis court). Meals
are available and the town of Kremling is ten miles away. Large groups are
welcome. Drive time one and half hours from Breckenridge.
