Winter conditions have arrived on the upper blue.The stair step section just outside of breck is still flowing,fish are eating mige larva, emergers and even adults(when adults are on the surface).The 4 mile bridge section is still fishing well,but hwy 9 b

480 cfs below Dillon 600 cfs below Green Mtn CFS

Section located below Lake Dillon in Silverthorne; Colorado I-70 - Rt. 9. The blue in silverthorne is fishing the best it has in years. beadhead pmd emergers, pheasent tails, and midge larvae are the ticket for nymph fishing. PMDs, Caddis, and midge dries

Dry Flies: sz 20-26 Cream/Black Midges, Para. Adams
Nymphs: Mysis Shrimp, Serendipity, beadhead midges, S.J. Worms,caddis larva


644 cfs below Windy Gap 2,660 cfs at Kremmling CFS

Between Kremling and Hot Sulphur Springs. The first CFS reading is for Granby, second is for Kremmling. water is warm and fish are in the faster water. Fishing should begin to pick up with colder evenings and shorter days. give fish in warm water a break

Dry Flies: sz18-26 Black/Cream Midges, Para. Adams
Nymphs: Midges (all colors), buckskin, serendipity, Disco Midges, Brassie


144 CFS

Section located on Highway 40 and the town of Parshal to the dam under Williams Fork Resevoir.Winter tailwater fishing this time of year,most done sub-surface with larva's and emerger's.Still good chance of small dry takes.

Nymphs: wd40,rs2, midges ,sj worms, small midges


106 above 11 mile res. 67.6 cfs above Spinney mnt. res. CFS

"Dream Stream" Section located below Spinney Resevoir and above 11-Mile Resevoir south of Hartsel. Caddis, PMDs, Tricos and midges are the predominate hatches. Hoppers are taking fish when the wind picks up. Tricos are out early so get there before sunris

Dry Flies: blk,crm,grey adult midge patterns 20-24,p.adams22/24
Nymphs: bead head mayfly ,sj worm , scuds and sow bugs,p-tail ,wd40, rs2
