The fishing on the Blue River has been good. Flows are holding steady, below the dam and water temps and clarity are pretty good. Your best bet is trying Mysis shrimp, as well as midge and nymph patterns in small sizes. 20-24. We are seeing heavy pressure even on weekdays, but lots of big fish. Learn More About The Blue River

The upper Colorado flows has dropped and leveled off. It is fishing well. You will see midge activity and on warmer days look for BWO patterns to be successful. Trough rd access has been fishing well ( Pumphouse down ) egg patterns, midge patterns, and small stones have all been productive. Fishing pressure is starting to be an issue as the word is out. Fishing on the South Platte has been good, but heavy pressure on the warmer days. Midge hatches have been steady on warmer mornings around 10-11. Small midge, Trico, and nymph patterns have proven to be the ticket. Move from subsurface to looking at rising fish as temperatures warm up in the mid morning and early afternoon. The Williams Fork is fishing better than it has in the past few weeks. Midges and BWOs are the preferred flies. Focus on the water right above the confluence for a few hundred yards.
